Rafael Fuenmayor, c.2011

Rafael Hernandez Fuenmayor (born 3 June, 1967) is an Alconbrian politician who was the country's 2nd Prime Minister of Alconbria during Victor Staurakios' presidency, from 1 February, 2011 till 19 December, 2011.

His parents, originally from Seranero fled to Mexico during the La Limpieza, and his mother, a trained doctor found employement in the United States of America and moved there along with her family in 1965. By the age of 24, Rafael worked at the US Foreign Affairs, and was one of the driving forces of the Corporal Plan, which provided American support to the Alconbria Liberation Council. In 1999, he returned to Alconbria, and settled in Los Guez, before moving to New Alcacer in 2007. He joined the Maldesktro Party in 2008. In the 2011 elections, he was the running mate of Victor Staurakios's presidential campaign, and assumed Prime Ministership after Staurakios won the elections.

Following the 2011 Alconbrian coup d'état, Fuenmayor was spared by Ernesto Titeriez. Fuenmayor then worked as a senior advisor in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, before becoming the Lieutenant Governor of Noricia in 2015.

He lives in Realos with his wife Mirnahi Fuenmayor, who is the Minister of Education of Noricia. The Fuenmayors have one son, Adner Fuenmayor, who is a Member of Parliament.
