The Mayan Liberation Front, shortened into MLF was a revolutionary organization aiming to create the United Mayan State, a country for the Mayans in Alconbria. The Alconbrian government succeeded in destroying the organization in 2013 and also assassinated it's leader Iktan Q'uq'umatz.

The Malpuro Liberation Party is affiliated with the MLF, and the Mayan People's Army is the militant wing affiliated with the MLF.

The MLF was designated as a terrorist organization in Alconbria in 2009.

In the Official Charter of the Mayan Liberation Front published in 1994, the ideology of the party was 'joint violent and non-violent action to establish a country for the Malpuros in the area of the former East Altivebrio'. The charter was revised in 1997, and the new version called for the establishment of a Malpuro state in the areas stolen by the Alconbria Liberation Council. In 1999, the group confirmed their allegiance to Altivebrio.

In regards to the government, Iktan Q'uq'umatz stated they were Marxist-Leninists and nearly half of the Malpuro National Committee supported communism.

Although the Mayans did not take part in the Altivebrian Civil War, they still believed that the war would endanger their lives. Fearing for an oppressive rule if the ruling government wins over the war, over 100 Mayan youths voluntarily joined the Arporleber in 1986.

The Military of Alconbria first captured areas with Mayan population in 1992. Adolfo Machiavelli reportedly said that the Mayans were not the enemy, due to the peaceful co-existence of the Alconbrian and Mayan population for centuries. Mayans were not killed, but were hired as either laborers, spies or soldiers. In 1995, over 13,000 Mayans had taken some sort job affliated with the Alconbria Liberation Council.

Not wanting the Mayans to join the Alconbrians, President Xavi Kohler devised the Percha Plan; a plan in which he would turn the Mayans against the Alconbrians. This involved spreading rumours about Alconbrian hate towards the Mayans, creating various Mayan militant groups to counter the Alconbrian invasions, staging fake massacres, etc.

Kohler's plan turned out to be successful, and the Mayans felt that Alconbria would be an Alconbrian-only state, while Altivebrio would be a more secular multi-ethical state; and began aiding the Altivebrio Defense Forces. Several militant organizations resisting the Alconbrian invasions were created, funded by Altivebrio, Guatemala and Egypt.

Altivebrian Secretary of State Jerry Teixeira created the Mayan Liberation Front in 1994 to co-ordinate the activities of the groups associated with it.

Involvement in the Alconbrian War of IndependenceEdit

The Mayan Liberation Army and Lower Altivebrio Revolutionary Army, the two official armed forces constituting the MLF were involved in a heavy insurgency campaign against the Military of Alconbria from 1994 till their military defeat in 2005. From 1994 till 2005, the MLA and the LARA launched mortar attacks against Alconbrian civilian and military encampments, and have directly aided the Altivebrio Defense Forces several times in combat, and played a significant part in the Battle of Beor and the Battle of Karsin.

Introje campaignEdit

Despite being envisioned as a conventional army, the MLF started accumulating guerrilla warfare divisions, and by 1997 had over 5,000 soldiers engaged in guerrilla warfare and terrorism. The first ever terror incident accreddited to the MLF was the 1994 Los Guez bombing, which killed over 70 Alconbrian civil administration officers in Los Guez. Their deadliest terror attack was the 2001 Gretter massacre, in which 218 Alconbrians, mainly women and children were killed by a death squad of 40 Malpuros of the Lower Altivebrio Revolutionary Army.
