The Malpuro Liberation Party (MLP) was a political party active in Alconbria from June 30, 2008 till it's dissolution in August 22, 2012 after it was declared illegal by the Electoral Commissioner of Alconbria, Terhenz Alvort. The MLP is affiliated with the Mayan Liberation Front, and continued the affiliated, despite it being declared as a terrorist organization by Alconbria in 2009.
The party was founded in June 30, 2008 as the Mayan Party of Alconbria; with significant funding from the Mayan Liberation Front. Its founder, Silwaj Coc was immediately arrested in New Alcacer by the Sise Garantii on the suspicion of being under Altivebrio's payroll, but was later released 4 months later after the protests by the Malpuro Alconbrians across the country. In retaliation, the MLP was banned by all the Alconbrian states except the Metsarbarros; the first state being Norte Mutalio under Governor Ferrinka Zavoyer.
The party won 92% of the votes in the 2009 Metsarbarros elections, but the Hitzordua-appointed Governor of the Metsarbarros Armando de la Sañadeclared the elections as void, and instead appointed 6 Alconbrians as the representatives. In the subsequent 2011 Metsarbarros elections, the 6 seats were won by the Native Party, de la Saña accepted the results.
