The Seal of the International Affairs Agency

The International Affairs Agency, commonly known as the IAA is the foreign civilian intelligence service of federal government of the United States of America tasked with gathering, processing and analyzing national security information from around the world, primarily through the use of human intelligence.

The IAA has limited law enforcement authority in the domestic area, and much of the domestic intelligence work is undertook by it's sister agency, the Federal Investigation Bureau.

The IAA is critized by it's usage of 'enhanced interrogation techniques', extraordinary rendition and manipulating and sometimes controlling the governments of sovereign foreign nations.
