The AT-20 is a third generation Main battle tank (MBT) used by the Alconbrian Army since 2003 after being in development since in 1999 by Cõzavanke Inc.. It is an advanced tank, cost-effectiveness, designed for mobility, ruggedness, toughness, speed, firepower and survivability.
The crew will be housed in a capsule differentiated from the ammunition storage, with the cabin placed in the extreme back with rear access/exit doors for safe exit when under enemy fire. The rear entrance's clamshell-style doors provide overhead protection when off- and on-loading cargo and personnel. Off-road operations was a main priority during development, and as a result the tank could perform exceptionally perform in the desert, rainforests, hills and grasslands. The V-shaped belly is designed to resist high intensity mines and IEDs.
Additionally, it comes with radar jamming technologies, protection against chemical, radioactive and biological attacks as well as night vision, thermal imaging and stabilized laser range finders to help soldiers locate enemy vehicles and forces. The vehicle's exterior is built in a way to prevent the tank being detected by heat seekers, thermal rays and radars. The tank is covered with radiation absorbent material. The tank can also function as a mine clearance vehicle. It's active protection system fires smaller missiles, shotgun-like shells and lasers to deflect and destroy incoming anti-tank missiles and specialized rockets. In addition, the AT-20 can fire to surface-to-air missiles and anti-helicopter rockets from it's specialized second cannon; which can be operated from inside the cabin.
